Already the drive to the highest golf course (740-800 m) of the region, through the southernmost part of the Black Forest, is of great recreational value. The infrastructure in Rickenbach is unique. A beautiful club house, a large training facility and everything a golfer could wish for is available.
Already at tee 1 you can feel what this course has to offer. Starting with a par-5 dogleg right, you have to place your first shot well. Whatever tactics are required here, they run through the whole course. No two fairways are the same. The whole round is exciting hole by hole. The course is very well maintained. The holes have been beautifully integrated into the existing terrain and the lovely surroundings. The golfer gets the feeling of walking through the landscape, while playing the most beautiful triviality in the world.
In Rickenbach there are many slopes and inclines, which makes it difficult for golfers who usually play flat courses to score well. Those who play this course for the first time as a visitor should not take their score too seriously. Instead, you should enjoy the wonderful view, which in good weather extends to the Alps and the Jura, as well as the lovely Black Forest area.
After the round you will be spoiled in the clubhouse with good Baden black forest cuisine. You can enjoy this with confidence, because you have achieved something on this round.
