Close to the Swiss border, the Golf Club Rheinblick has an exceptional course, both in terms of golfing and scenery, as well as naturalness. The course leads you over easy to difficult hilly terrain, which is situated above the Rhine, and demands a good deal of physical fitness. Due to numerous bunkers, water hazards, biotopes, fruit trees and bushes, a precise game is required. The 18-hole course is spread over an area of more than 100 hectares. Old trees and young trees characterize the harmonious course, which is embedded in the hilly landscape.
Hole 2 already clearly shows the characteristics of the course. From the elevated tee-off one has a magnificent view for the first time. The drive flies over a large biotope, past sheep and fallow deer, down into the valley towards the clubhouse.
The 12 (par 5) is characterized by a lot of water. Two ponds deny the direct way to the green. The 15 is played short and steeply downhill and is the easiest hole (par 3). The green 16 is long, narrow, curved and therefore difficult to play. In windy conditions, the 17 (par 3) is not easy to play, and the subsequent par 4 completes the round of golf on a course that rightly bears the name of championship course. The driving range with 5000 square meters of teeing off, pitching and chipping greens offers good training possibilities. On the Restau-ranterrace you can end a nice day of golf.
