In the heart of the St.Gallen Rhine Valley lies the Gams-Werdenberg golf course. The 18-hole course (par 72) with a length of 6046 metres was opened in 2008. The golf course has taken up the character of the wide, flat plain of the Rhine Valley in the Gams area and visibly retained it. Wide fairways and generous greens are striking. The golf course is characterised by the many water hazards and a long biotope right across the course.
At first glance the course seems easy to play – but oha! The golf course is a real challenge for the expert, but at the same time the hobby golfer can have fun and enjoy the game. Whether the game is successful or not: no one can escape the unique magic of the magnificent backdrop of the Alpstein and the Liechtenstein mountains. The sunny valley floor makes it possible to play on summer greens even in winter!
The golf course includes a large driving range, putting greens and a spacious short game area. The training facility is accessible for experienced players, beginners and non-golfers. After the game, the golf restaurant “Bahnhöfli” offers culinary delights on the large sun terrace or in the well-kept rooms.
