Situated on a hill in the Zurich Oberland, the attractive and well maintained course offers extraordinary impressions not only to the demanding golfer but also to the nature lover. The hilly terrain with beautiful trees, water in the form of streams and lakes, adjacent nature reserves and woodland demands well-placed shots and is technically challenging for the expert, but also offers a fair chance for the beginner.
The numerous obstacles are also easy to play over for less experienced golfers. A defensive strategy based on precision often leads to a better result than an aggressive attack. Interesting is the different character of the course. While the first nine holes allow the golfer to look out over the expanse of the Central Plateau, the second nine holes lead through a beautiful, heavily wooded nature reserve.
The outstanding hole of the course is undoubtedly number 15, a par 3: a fairway in a clearing in the forest, which has a visually impressive effect on the game. After the round, the cosy and well-reserved clubhouse awaits you with an inviting terrace and a magnificent view over the first holes as well as over the Pfäffikersee.

- Von Westen: Autobahn A53 Zürich–Uster, Ausfahrt Uster Nord/Pfäffikon, weiter bis Pfäffikon, bei der Ampel rechts, dann Abzweigung nach links (Schild Hittnau) bis Hittnau, von dort den grünen Schildern «Golf» nach bis Dürstelen (2,2 km ab Rest. Sonne) und dort rechts (wieder Wegweiser «Golf») bis zum Golfplatz. Von Osten: Von Hinwil nach Kempten (Wetzikon), bei der ersten Ampel ca. 250 m nach dem Kreisel beim Restaurant Ochsen rechts abbiegen. Schild Hittnau nach rechts, weiter nach Oberbalm, Hofhalden, bei nächster Querstrasse nach links und gleich wieder nach rechts (grüne Schilder «Golf») bis kurz vor Dürstelen.
