The Golf & Country Club Wallenried was inaugurated in 1994 and is located in the heart of the Freiburg lake district. The open terrain offers a wonderful view far into the Jura chain in the west and the foothills of the Alps in the east.
The variations of the wide and open fairways, the large and challenging greens, the water hazards, the biotope and the wind influences demand endurance and precision from every player. The course is lovely and well maintained. A wonderful view of the charming clubhouse and the whole surrounding area can be enjoyed from hole 8 to hole 9 or from hole 17 to hole 18.
The 3-hole practice course, which runs around the driving range, is ideal for the first golf steps and practical situations. One par 3 and two par 4 can be played for any length of time. The practice bunker, the putting green with an area of 2000 square metres and the pitching green, on which approaches of 10 to 80 metres can be practised, are also part of the infrastructure.
The unmistakable homely and rustic atmosphere of the clubhouse invites golfers and guests alike to enjoy. The quality of the restaurant Le Disnöf is convincing and with the extraordinary view of the Pre-Alps, a round of golf can easily be concluded.
