The Golf&Country Club de Neuchâtel was founded in 1975 and is wonderfully integrated into the rural surroundings. A rich tree population offers pleasant shade in summer and in autumn the leaves shine in beautiful shades of colour.
The 18-hole golf course has first-class technical features and is very popular with golfers of all levels. The mainly hilly course is not the longest at 5917 metres, but the well-placed trees and bunkers make the game particularly interesting. Water hazards are largely absent on the golf course. But at the spectacular hole 9, a small lake has to be overcome. Since 1982, the Golf & Country Club has hosted the popular Neuchâtel Open every year.
The driving range with partly covered teeing grounds, two putting greens and a practice bunker is part of the club’s infrastructure.
With the panoramic view of hole 2 and the impressive hole 9, the restaurant’s terrace is one of the most beautiful in the region. During the golf season the restaurant is open all week.
