The former Bern Golf Club was founded in 1937 and had a 9-hole golf course on the Gurten. In 1959 the Golf & Country Club Blumisberg was founded and at the same time the 18-hole golf course on the Blumisberg was opened. The golf course was extended and redesigned from 2006 to 2012.
Today the Blumisberg Golf Course is one of the most beautiful parkland golf courses with a unique tree population.
The challenging holes lie alternately in forest aisles and open terrain, surrounded by pastureland. On the fairways, the golfer always enjoys a magnificent view of the hilly landscape as well as of the Jura and the foothills of the Alps.
The course is not very long, but mostly hilly and has some water hazards. Thus a precise game is rewarded. The standard of care is very high. With its clear positioning and its above-average services, G & CC Blumisberg as a Private Members Club is one of the leaders in our country.
A driving range, a practice bunker and a putting green are available for practice or practice.
Whether before or after a game of golf – the tastefully furnished gourmet restaurant and bistro spoils you with dishes “à la mille sens groupe standard”.
