The Bouleaux golf course is located in the heart of Alsace, about 10 minutes from Mulhouse and surrounded by forest. The course is absolutely flat, but more demanding to play than it seems. The water hazards are strategically well placed and require a lot of tactical skill. One should play precise golf, not to miss the relatively narrow fairways, otherwise the ball will involuntarily land under the trees. In spring and autumn you will find an incomparable atmosphere during your game in the morning with wafts of mist over the waters. On warm summer days the numerous trees provide pleasant shade. The layout of the course is designed in such a way that you can always change direction and thus see the most varied views of this varied course.
Bouleaux is a true ornithological reserve in a park landscape protected by oak forest. Each of the 18 holes is named after a species of bird that can be observed at least temporarily on the course. A total of 69 different bird species have been identified. New ones are added every year, such as the rare Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, the Jackdaw and the Pied Flycatcher in 2010. Meanwhile, more than 30 nesting boxes have been hung up all over the square, which are cleaned and repaired every year. They are gladly accepted by the cave breeders.
The driving range as well as the chipping and pitching zones are integrated in the middle of the course. The fairways surround the practice area. A pro-shop and a restaurant are available.
